Historical loot in DayZ is found exclusively at castles across the map. Unlike castle ruins, which do not use this tag, Historical loot spawns include medieval gear such as chainmail armor and the mace melee weapon. The best spots to search are tall castle towers and gatehouses, where this rare loot most commonly appears.
