Historical loot is only found where castles are on the map. While most castles are in ruins in DayZ, the Historical loot tag is not applied to ruins. Historical loot includes medieval gear such as chainmail gear and the mace melee weapon. Tall castle towers and castle gate houses are the most common place to find Historical loot in DayZ.
